January 2007: After a wonderfully busy November and December, things have calmed down a bit over here at Jessica McDaniel Photography. The holiday season went really well, thanks in large part to Jessica's new assistant, Liz Gross, who was the behind-the-scenes print order maven. Thanks Liz for everything!

Jess will likely be doing another few days of studio sessions in March to benefit the Jimmy Fund - sign up for the mailing list to receive info when that gets organized. And check out fantastic Annie - a little speed demon at 15 months old!

November 2006: Jessica's photographs are hung in Salem's newest baby boutique -- "Oh Baby Love" on Essex Street. Stop by and check out their adorable baby stuff.

October 2006: There are still a few appointments left for photoshoots in time for holiday cards... call or email to schedule yours soon.

August 2006: Jess will be in Pottery Barn Kids in early September as the store photographer for Precious Time Photography.

July 2006: In addition to snapping photos of little cuties on the beach this summer, I'm working on setting up the ability to take Mastercard and VISA. That should be up and running by the end of August.

March 2006: Jessica was the store photographer for Precious Time Photography again in the Janie & Jack stores in the Atrium Mall and the Natick Mall over the month of March.

January 2006: Jessica's photography has been hung in the waiting rooms at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates' Pediatrics area. Directions and office address can be found here.

October 5, 2005: At 10am we welcomed Anna Sedgwick McDaniel - 8 lbs, 2 oz, and 19 inches long - into the world. She's amazing! Jessica is back to work for holiday photoshoots, so call or email now to reserve a photoshoot in November or December.

October 1, 2005, 9am: Jessica spoke at the National Association of Nannies annual conference at the Boston Logan Airport Embassy Suites. She spoke on "Focusing In: Taking Great Photos of Children".

September 2005: Jessica McDaniel Photography was Pottery Barn Kids' store photographer again this fall, shooting in the Atrium Mall store in early September. Jessica worked with Precious Time Photography.

August 2005: Jessica McDaniel Photography's work has been hung in the lobby of Wellesley Women's Care in the Newton Wellesley Hospital. Directions to the office can be found here.

May 2005: Jessica returned to her alma mater, Connecticut College, to speak to the senior art majors about making a living in the arts. She was also featured in the alumni magazine CC:, in a Summer 2005 article detailing her business.

April 2005: Jessica McDaniel Photography's work was featured in the back stairwell at the Junior League of Boston Interior Design Show House. The Show House was held at Prouse Farm in Canton, it opened in late April and ran for about a month.

March 2005: Jessica McDaniel donated a photo shoot for the "Heart Gallery", a gallery show highlighting children who are available for adoption in Massachusetts. The "Heart Gallery" opening was from 5-8pm March 24th in the Hotel Commonwealth gallery, after which the show is traveling around Massachusetts through November 2005.

January 2005: Jessica McDaniel Photography was chosen to represent Precious Time photography in Janie & Jack stores and Pottery Barn Kids stores in Natick, MA, Chestnut Hill, MA, and Farmington, CT. Jessica was the store photographer in March & April 2005.

November 2004: Jessica McDaniel Photography photo of "Nate, 5 weeks" was selected for inclusion in Plum Magazine's debut issue. Plum Magazine is a magazine for pregnant women 35 years of age and older. The photo was included in a photo essay entitled "Birth of a Mother" in their December 2004 issue.
